blackberry cake
A family recipe contributed by Franc
5 eggs 2 cups of sugar 1 cup yogurt
1 cup melted butter 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 cups flour(preferably all-purpose)
The juice from 1 whole lemon Orange peel from half an orange
Raisins, walnuts and blackberries amount to your liking.
Beat 5 eggs
Add the 2 cups of sugar along with the 1 teaspoon baking soda and the cup of yogurt.
Mix together for about 5-7 minutes.
Add the cup of melted butter along with the raisins, walnuts and blackberries to our liking.
After mixing for another 5-7 minutes add the 3 cups of flour.
Mix until it becomes a homogenous mixture.
Place the mixture into any oven tray and pre heat oven to 400°F and bake for 40 minutes.
If at any point the top seems to be cooking faster cover the cake with paper (any A4 paper will do)
